Q. The street light outside my house isn't working. Who can I contact ?
A. To report a street lighting fault call 0845 758 1622. It would be helpful if you had the column number (painted on the lamp) handy when you called.

Q. When is the "tip" open ?
A. The waste collection and recycling centre is open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. For further details of the type of waste accepted at the site contact Viridor Waste Management on 0845 130 0393 or email info@reclaim-westsussex.co.uk

A. For help and advice dealing with household pests contact the District Council's Area Office 01730 812251 and they can make an appointment for a Pest Control Officer to call.

A. To apply for an allotment in Midhurst [Bepton Road, Carron Lane, St Ann's Hill] you will need to contact the Cowdray Estate on 01730 812423

A. Building Control Officers are based at the District Council's Area Office 01730 812251.

Q. There are several uneven paving slabs in the main road . Who should I report this to ?
A. Faults on the highways including uneven paving slabs, pot holes, obstructions on footpaths etc. should be reported to the WSCC Highways Authority on 01243 642105

Q. When is the Registrar's office in Midhurst open?
A. The Registrar's office is open from 2 pm to 5pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and from 9.30am to 12.30 pm on Fridays. You will need to make an appointment and you can do this by phoning the Midhurst office 01730 813245 or when that office is closed by phoning the Chichester office 01243 782723

A. All traffic signals are maintained by West Sussex County Council. Call 0845 712 5415 to report any faults.
